Abstract

In the book summarizes theoretical, methodological, organizational and technological foundations of information activities. In particular highlighted the results of research information needs of users, which allowing us to track the interests and needs of readers SSPL of Ukraine by V.A. Sukhomlynsky; described the experience of Reference Services Library users and distant users; analyzed the feasibility of the introduction of new forms of reference and bibliographic information services, and outlines ways to improve the quality of services provided; formed promising areas of scientific organization of information activities SSPL of Ukraine by V.A. Sukhomlynsky as a branch library complex, especially on the creation of an autonomous "Virtual bibliographic information" improving the forms and methods of information support of educational sphere bibliographic, abstract and analytical information, formation of electronic information resources and analytical abstract electronic database of scientific publishing and information-analytical activity SSPL of Ukraine by V.A. Sukhomlynsky. The publication is intended scientists libraries, bibliographies, scientists books, librarians of archivists, students and all those interested in information activities.
