Abstract
The paper highlights common features mythologizing indoctrination and political consciousness. These aspects are observed at levels: ontological (the myth as the genetic basis of ideology), epistemological (theoretical reflection and imaginative perception), praxeological (and myth and ideology encourage certain activities in the political environment), Axiological (both forms of social consciousness based on evaluative dimension ). Proved that more political mythology inherent "spontaneity" of the independence of the will of individuals and institutions involved in its creation. This is because political mythology formed during the interaction ideological doctrine with the existing stereotypes of public consciousness. The author notes that in the end, ideology and mythology are important elements of the symbolic world of politics, so they both focused on the formation of values and ideological paradigm.
