Abstract

This monograph is the result of work five-year research project of the laboratory Environmental Psychology of G.S.Kostiuk Institute of Psychology NAPS Ukraine's. It highlights issues of particular social and psychological basis, especially the conditions and factors of formation of environmentally oriented lifestyle of the individual. The first part analyzes the main theoretical and methodological approaches to the problem, offered an original model of ecologically oriented lifestyle of the individual, historical psychological analysis of the formation of ecological values in the European society as a foundation of ecologically oriented lifestyle. The second part of this book is presented the researches of specific problems in formation of ecologically oriented lifestyle, particularly in childhood and adolescence.
