Abstract
The article deals with the levels of development of the main types of staff’s tolerance (ethnic, social and tolerance as a personality trait) in innovative and traditional secondary schools. The author describes the differences found in the development of some types of tolerance of the teaching staff in innovative and traditional educational institutions. The author also analyzes the relationship between teachers’ tolerance and some components of organizational culture of educational institutions. The innovative educational institution teaching staff’s tolerance index was found to correlate with work and communication components of organizational culture. Some components of innovative educational institution teaching staff’s tolerance were shown to have inverse relationships with the power and role organizational culture types and direct relationships with the task organizational culture type. In traditional schools these links were not found.
