Abstract

The tutorial includes materials that reveal the peculiarities of international competitions, the basic requirements for participation and competition works, the forms and stages of selecting participants in competitive events, a system of training gifted students to participate in international competitions of young researchers on the example of the International Conference of Young Scientists (ICYS) and the Intel ISEF. The tutorial’s authors are the organizers of the program of the national selection and training of gifted children of Ukraine for participation in international competitions. They are also the members of authors collective in the formation of programs and the creation of special courses in psycho-pedagogical and methodological support of participants of competitions at various levels, leaders of Ukraine team in international competitions ICYS and Intel ISEF.
