Abstract

In the collective monograph prepared by scientists of the laboratory of psychology socially maladjusted juveniles Institute of Psychology GS Kostiuk NAPS Ukraine considered devianta psychological mechanisms of adaptation to modern socio-cultural environment through the analysis of the characteristics of their operation on the example image I, value-sense sphere, reflection, empathy, self-emotional sphere. Determined that the process of social adaptation of persons with deviant behavior involves determining the kind of deviant behavior and social exclusion of its type without regard to behavioral manifestations. An obligatory condition is the inclusion devianta adapt to a new system of relations and changes his world view. This in turn will push for a new relationship to itself, which is the psychological foundation for the process of social adaptation. Results of the study will be useful not only for researchers, but also for specialists of social services for children, families and youth criminal Inspection for children, social rehabilitation institutions for children, adolescents and young people, institutions of the penitentiary service of Ukraine, psychologists and social workers general schools.
