Abstract

The collective monograph discusses psychological aspects of implementing of the constructive features of ethnic culture in the context of the information society, transformation scenarios for basic ethnic cultural themes of the Ukrainian ethnos under the systemic global crisis, the ruling elite’s role in implementation of the constructive features of the ethnic culture, ethnic cultural factors that influence formation of personality’s gender representations, psychological characteristics of inter-ethnic interaction, changes of an ethnic identity and psychological characteristics of spiritual culture transformation in the virtual informational space. This study is important because globalization tendencies influence significantly on the destiny of different nations, and impact of the national culture on the possible transformation scenarios for the basic ethnic cultural themes of the Ukrainian ethnos in the global crisis shall be studies in details. Taking into account ethnic aspects of society promotes adoption of ethnic and cultural values and teaches pupils and students to national tolerance that has considerable social significance due to promotion of civic values in in the context of the information society. The book is addressed to psychologists, scientists and practitioners, university lecturers and all other professionals working in the field of ethnic psychology.
