Abstract

Ukrainian-language competence is a worldview determinant. Ukrainian-language competence is a marker of national identity and an attract or for the establishment of the nation. This competence is very significant in the existential challenges of Ukraine. Ukrainian-language competence should be formed on the basis of innovative pedagogical practices that are adequate to the goals, objectives, tasks, content of education and upbringing, and should meet the needs and demands of students and society. Educational results (social effect) depend on appropriate selection, optimal combination and exemplary application of technologies, forms, methods and means of formation of Ukrainian-language competence, which have proven their effectiveness.
