Abstract

The book summarizes the main results of the work, for which the Decree of the President of Ukraine № 4/2020 of January 13, 2020, the authors were awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology. The work summarizes the almost twenty-year period of development of socio-psychological thought in Ukraine, determines the prospects and main directions of its further progress. The search for ways to harmonize the world of life and increase the level of psychological security of a person covers the areas of personal life creation and authenticity, construction of people’s own future and their ascent to subjectivity in the coordinates of interaction with a diverse social environment. From this point of view, the issues of democratization of public life and formation of civil society, introduction of social innovations, role interaction and productivity in groups, development of scientific and non-scientific socio-psychological thinking, social dialogues, adjustment of social tensions, counteraction to social pathologies and destructive social influences are covered, overcoming the consequences of long-term traumatization of victims of the military conflict. It is addressed to the professional psychological community and specialists of other socio-humanitarian sciences, as well as to all those who care about the problems of preserving and increasing the human potential of the country in today’s complex, contradictory and not always safe world.
