Abstract

The article deals with the historical and pedagogical analysis of the formation and development of a special system education in Ukraine. The stages of its formation are considered, the main directions of modernization are determined and improvements, noted favorable years for the expansion of the network of specialist institutions and improvement of educational work in them.
