Abstract

The benefits of the freely distributed Maxima system naturally make it suitable for use in the education system. Unfortunately, until now in the domestic educational literature the possibilities of this system are practically not illuminated, therefore, with the aim of its popularization, we set the goal of our work to develop a hypertext guide from the Maxima system to support an optional course "Computer technologies in scientific research".
