Abstract

The educational and methodological guide presents an understanding of the essence of alalia and its impact on the child's learning and social development, information on various aspects of alalia, including types, psychological and pedagogical characteristics, symptoms and effects on the child's mental and speech development, practical advice and strategies that can be use in the educational environment to support children with alalia. The manual presents directions for overcoming speech disorders, methods of improving speech skills, ways to involve the child in communicative situations, use of alternative means of communication, and other strategies. The manual is a convenient source of information that combines theoretical knowledge with practical recommendations. The publication is recommended for teachers-speech therapists of educational institutions with different forms of education and upbringing, specialists, teachers of inclusive resource centers, students of the relevant profession, parents of children with special speech needs.
