Abstract

With research showing that learning a second language benefits almost everyone, schools around the world are looking for ways to bring those benefits to their students. One of the teaching trends in bilingual education is the CLIL methodology. To take advantage of this integrative approach, teachers and school administrators need a deep understanding of the theories behind it, as well as adequate training in how to apply these theories in specific ways in their institution.
