Abstract

Some aspects of subject reading competence are singled out in theses. Model educational programs on Ukrainian literature for the New Ukrainian School were analyzed. It has been proven that the study of works of art by modern Ukrainian writers contributes to the effective renewal of content and procedural parameters of the process of forming subject competence in literature lessons.
