Abstract

The article examines the peculiarities of the development of speaking competence among students, future teachers, in the process of studying the Ukrainian language in higher educational institutions. Ways of implementing the system of methods of formation of speaking skills are presented: methods aimed at the development of reproductive skills and methods aimed at the development of productive skills.
