Abstract

The article emphasizes the importance of patriotic education during the resistance of the Ukrainian people to Russian aggression, reveals the essence of the concepts of «national consciousness», «patriotic consciousness», focuses attention on the possibilities of Ukrainian literature in the education of students' patriotic consciousness, defines the forms and methods of working with students in order to encourage them to read the literature of the period of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
