Abstract

The issue of the content and structure of literary education at the adaptation cycle of the New Ukrainian School has been updated. The competence potential of Ukrainian literature textbooks is analyzed. Technologies of formative assessment of students' educational achievements in literature are revealed. It is proved that the new content of the school course of Ukrainian literature for grades 5-6 and modern educational and methodological support testify to the implementation of innovative approaches to the organization of the educational process in the realities of the New Ukrainian School.
