Abstract

The thesis talks about Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, as one of the most outstanding masters of Ukrainian art of art, the author of more than a thousand works of art, known throughout the world as the Great Kobzar, the founder of critical realism in Ukrainian literature who raised the spirit of serfdom of Ukraine, did not stop before the audacious policy of national oppression, pointed out the need to educate youth in national consciousness and patriotism, the importance of folk traditions and folklore (Ukrainian folk song) in the formation of personality, as well as revealed his ideas that were raised by him and aimed at important issues of education and education in the life of a person and society, learning the native language and its role in the education of a child.
