Abstract

At the article defines the problems of patriotic education of children with special educational needs in Ukraine. The features of the formation of the foundations of patriotic feelings in children with intellectual disabilities of early preschool age by means of Ukrainian folk musical creativity are characterized. The leading educational role of lullabies is determined. It has been proved that Ukrainian children's musical folklore has valuable pedagogical possibilities and contributes to the formation of the fundamental principles of national self-consciousness and the child's individuality.
