Abstract

The presentation of the scientific report took place on July 20, 2023 at 09:30 at the Goethe University, in the SH 4.101 auditorium, as part of the work of the section "Being Jewish for Ukraine" of the 12th Congress of the European Association of Jewish Studies "Branching Out. Diversity of Jewish Studies" on July 16-20, 2023, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Abstracts of the report are published in the Collection of abstracts of the reports of the participants of the congress, Pages 204-205. The scientific report presented the current curricula, textbooks and manuals on the Hebrew language for grades 1-4 of general secondary education institutions of Ukraine with a Jewish ethno-cultural component. In particular, the conceptual principles of the development of the new Ukrainian school and the leading approaches to education are considered; factors of content integration and characteristics of integrative situations are determined; the integrative principles of building the content and implementing the integrative function in modern programs, textbooks and manuals for the initial study of the Hebrew language are presented. Screenshots and photos of the event are presented on the last slides of the presentation of the scientific report.
