Abstract

The article gives a profound description of the characteristics of the senior preschoolers’ attitude towards nature and emphasizes the importance of taking into account the described essential features for creating an effective natural environment in a preschool institution. Researchers of the problem of ecological education of preschool children especially emphasize that in preschool childhood the most important directions of formation of natural and ecological competence are the development of emotional and value attitude towards nature in children, which is based on awareness of its self-worth and formation of interest in learning about nature. Formation of ecological and natural competence enables the child, based on the available ideas about the integrity of the natural world, its selfworth and influence on human life, to act independently and constructively in different situations that require the choice of environmentally appropriate activity, motivates behavior, children’s interaction with environment according to its laws and in harmony with it. This makes the problem of creating such a natural educational developmental environment in preschool institution, which can ensure the communication of the child with nature, positively influence on formation of his/her personality. In modern psychological, pedagogical and methodological researches, the problem of creation of the developmental environment in preschool institutions is given considerable attention. At the same time, the analysis of scientific and methodological publications and practices of preschool education confirms that the problem of creating the natural development environment of preschool institution is not completely solved.
