Abstract

The relevance of this research and experimental work is determined by the need to develop a new direction of applied research, namely the use of variable models of computer-oriented methodological systems for research teaching of students of science and mathematics subjects in the educational process, management activities and dissemination of research teaching methods in the educational system with the balanced use of immersive technologies. The aim of the study is to develop, substantiate and experimentally test variable models of the use of computer-oriented methodological systems for research teaching (CORM) of subjects of the science and mathematics cycle, including mixed reality technologies (MRT). Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR) using HMDs is a technology for creating a sense of psychological presence of the user in a virtual space. Different IVR technologies can be used to create different levels of engagement and sense of presence in a simulated environment.Virtual Reality (VR) is a 3D computer-generated environment that can be used to provide a "real world simulation" that is close to the real world. The virtual environment can be projected using a personal computer, mobile application or HMD display, which can be represented by a headset or goggles. The possibilities range from passive observation of the virtual world, to those where the user is provided with limited navigation and interaction, to virtual environments where the user manipulates (moves) and interacts, resulting in a personalised experience.
