Abstract

The article emphasizes that, tourism as a socio-economic phenomenon is the object of study of many sciences: economics, geography, local history, history, ecology, law, politics, medicine, psychology and sociology, cultural studies, etc. The author, summarizing what has been said, concludes that the study of tourism can take place according to the sectoral or problem principle.
