Abstract
The theses reveal the essence and role of the tandem method in the implementation of the model of multilingual education, define the pedagogical conditions for its use, and its advantages compared to traditional methods for the formation of multilingual competence. The results of an experimental study on the use of the tandem method in the process of introducing multilingual education are presented.
