Abstract

The methodical recommendations reveal the essence of intercultural foreign language communicative competence (IFLCC) and the factors influencing its formation; the structure and means of forming MICC in 5-6 grades of gymnasiums are described. Special attention is paid to the selection of exercises and tasks for the formation of students' IFLCC in four types of speech activity (listening, speaking, reading, writing). The isolated and characterized indicators of the formation of IFLCC are correlated with the results of learning foreign languages of gymnasium students, determined by the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education. The publication is addressed to teachers of foreign languages of general secondary education institutions, methodologists of foreign languages, scientists who research the issue of IFLCC.
