Abstract

The theses update the study of approaches to teaching Ukrainian literature in a modern school. The advantages of the cultural approach to the teaching of Ukrainian literature in the 5th-6th grades of NUS, which contributes to the literary and general cultural development of student-readers, and their integration into the modern European educational space, have been proven.
