Abstract

The theses present an analysis of the competence formation of natural and scientific competence of education seekers as an important theoretical and methodological basis for the implementation of the concept of the new ukrainian school. The separation of the concepts of "competence" and "competence" in the works of leading scientists is considered. The main features of competences are proposed as a set of actualized qualities and properties and an intellectual, personally determined socio-professional characteristic based on acquired knowledge, abilities, skills, acquired practical experience, value orientations, moral worldviews, the ability to independently organize and carry out research activities, willingness to independently solve professional tasks, ability to creative thinking, self-development, self-improvement. The essence of subject natural and scientific competence of the student of education has been clarified.
