Abstract

The work presents the concepts of autonomy and heteronomity in the dictionary literature, presents the views of H.H. Vashchenko on the development of both political and cultural autonomy of Ukraine. The author emphasizes the need to reveal the identity of Ukrainian personality education, cites the teacher's opinions on the study of educational practices aimed at improving the personality both physically and spiritually. An important place in the article is devoted to the study of the role of the teacher, who must assert educational ideals for Ukrainian youth through his own efforts.
