Abstract

The relevance of including texts by modern authors on heroic-patriotic topics into the circle of children's reading is substantiated. It is proposed to use in children's book lessons the works of modern writers on the specified topic, other educational materials that will introduce younger schoolchildren to the famous places of Ukraine, the names of outstanding Ukrainians who increased the glory of our country with world-class inventions.
