Abstract
The article examines the process of implementing the activity approach in 5-6 grades in the lessons of Ukrainian literature. It has been proven that the activity approach to the organization of literary education of younger teenagers integrates general didactic methods, as a result of the application of which in the process of learning Ukrainian literature, it is possible to achieve the expected learning results, the formation of a system of value orientations for the development of the personality of students.
