Abstract

The article describes an actual problem of modern special psychology - psychological and pedagogical support of children with cochlear implants in primary school age. The author analyzed the theoretical and methodological approaches to the problem of rehabilitation and adaptation of children with hearing impairments to the world of hearing peers, analyzed the state of psychological and pedagogical support for children with cochlear implants in Ukraine and determined the organizational, didactic-methodical, correctional and rehabilitation features of such support, in particular for children appropriate age. The historical aspect of understanding the problem, the diversity of approaches of various specialists to the problem of rehabilitation of children with cochlear implants and psychological assistance not only to the child, but also to the family raising a younger schoolboy with such a feature, were studied. The main purpose of the publication is defined, namely to form and outline the specifics of psychological support and psychological assistance for children of primary school age with cochlear implants. Significant opportunities for development and rehabilitation, adaptation of children with cochlear implants to the hearing world with the help of inclusive education are emphasized. Since the organization of inclusive education for children with hearing impairments, in particular, children with cochlear implants, is the most acceptable natural social environment for development. In addition, the specifics of psychological support for children of primary school age with cochlear implants are described in the context of forms and types of support for the child and his immediate environment, the features of the use of the latest psychological technologies during support are revealed, the effectiveness of the use of artotherapy technologies in psychocorrective and psychotherapeutic work with children of this category is analyzed . The author defined and described the conditions for ensuring the effectiveness of the psychological support of a child of primary school age with a cochlear implant in the educational process.
