Abstract

The thesis characterizes the EuroCom project as a system of practical measures aimed at the formation of receptive competences in related languages, starting with the development of reading skills in them. It was determined that the strategic goal of EuroCom is the pragmatic promotion of individual and social European multilingualism. It was concluded that receptive technology provides an opportunity for students to mobilize all available mechanisms of conscious acquisition of related languages, transfer of language knowledge and skills acquired in the process of learning previous languages. Its systematic use increases the motivation of education seekers, reduces anxiety and fear before learning a new language; forms the ability to transfer not only language, but also cultural phenomena, educational strategies.
