Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of modern inclusive education of children with mental retardation in Ukraine and considers the possibilities of its improvement. In particular, the inconsistency of educational conditions in an inclusive classroom with the educational needs of a large number of children in this category was emphasized and the need for preliminary correctional and pedagogical work with them in special groups of preschools and special preparatory classes in general secondary schools was substantiated.
