Abstract

Bilingual education is an integrative element of the educational system of Ukraine, which is due to historical and social factors. Ukraine is a multicultural state and the issue of education in the native language for ethnic minorities is legally approved. This right is exercised at all levels: from preschool to higher education. The use of a certain language as a second in teaching is regionally conditioned. Within the framework of European integration, a program for the study of European languages ​​(Ukrainian + foreign), close cooperation with European countries in the field of language education is being implemented in Ukraine.
