The publication reveals the specifics of the difficulties in teaching English of hearing impairments children, mostly on first semantization stage such as: low Ukrainian and Ukrainian Sign Language competence; unformed ability to understand the meaning of a word in context; limiting the use of accuracy to express all possible meanings of a word.
