Abstract

The effectiveness of competently oriented foreign language learning of students in grades 1-4 depends largely on the qualitative composition of the language, speech, illustrative and informational material used in the educational process. Given current trends in the development of foreign language school education, as well as methods, methods, forms and types of learning activities, there is a need to review and clarify the principles of selection of educational material to the content of competently oriented foreign language teaching in elementary school.
