Abstract

Based on the analysis of the protocols of the meetings of the psychological seminar of Pavlyska school, V. Sukhomlynsky's views on the problem of culture of the needs of the student are highlighted, it is proved that the teacher considers this problem in the psychological and pedagogical aspect, linking with the category of "needs" such concepts as "desire", "quirks", "pleasure", "duty", "discipline", etc. The classification of needs for V. Sukhomlinsky was reconstructed.
