Abstract

The monograph is the fifth scientific publication of the joint educational project of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and the Higher Pedagogical School of the Union of Polish Teachers (Warsaw, Poland): "Problems of Education in Poland and Ukraine in the Context of the Processes of Globalization and European Integration". The monograph analyzes the problems of reforming and modernizing education in Ukraine and the Republic of Poland in the context of educational paradigms and ideas; mission of education, educational reality and pedagogical practice; a reflection of the historical experience of reforming education; contemporary educational reforms are considered as a response to the processes of globalization and European integration. The publication is addressed to employees of higher educational establishments, institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education, state authorities, scientists, postgraduate students and doctoral students, all who are interested in modern trends in the development of education.
