Abstract

In the tutorial the main content, tasks and functions of the subject psychology are revealed. On the basis of investigated great amount of scientific literature the main trends of modern psychological ideas are depicted, branches of psychological science are outlined, the levels of psyche manifestation are determined and individual and psychological characteristics of a personality are characterized. Personality behavior activity is analyzed, the essence of notions “self-concept”, “human activity psychology” are revealed, cognitive as well as emotional and volitional spheres of personality are submitted.
