Abstract

The basic reform of higher education in Ukraine that have been implemented over the last 35 years and their impact on the quality of higher education. It is proved that the poor quality of Ukrainian higher education decisive caused negative impact on high school social context, in particular, local labor market demand for a nominal degree, formed as a result of the incompetence of protectionism, which in turn is a consequence of monopolization of political and economic spheres of society. Reasonable assumptions about the low efficiency of modern reform of higher education in the case of preserving the current system of social relations that blocks civilized competitive environment in Ukrainian society.
