Abstract
In the article children have the analysed problem of self-regulation, feature of its display, time-lagged psychical development of junior school and juvenile age. Actuality of this problem is conditioned that these age-old stages are important periods for becoming of self-regulation of schoolboy, its subsequent development and influence, on personality. Self-regulation of student in educational activity foresees the following: a student must realize and accept the purpose of educational activity, then, in accordance with the accepted purpose, to define the sequence of executions and estimate the terms of gaining end. The result of these actions is a subjective model of educational activity, on the basis of which a student makes the program of actions, determines the methods of its realization. To estimate the results of the activity a student must have information about that, as far as it will be successful, that is why he watch by estimation explanations which go from the side of teacher, comparing here these self-appraisals with information of teacher and those criteria which he pulls out as requirements to the educational actions. The features of self-control students with mental retardation, outlined ways of correction of self-regulation aimed at its formation.
