Abstract
The article revealed need for a family-oriented approach and the foundation on which it based: optimizing intra-atmosphere; harmonization of interpersonal, parent-child and child-parent relationships; develop adequate parental attitudes and parenting style, etc. Highlights qualitative changes in the lives of families with children which have developmental disabilities (including autism). Further study is concerned with the creation of optimal conditions for the development and education of children with autism in the family environment and focus on the use of family resources environment and the application of TEACCH therapy and other psychotherapeutic methods.
