Abstract
The article is devoted to topical issues of professional and personal selfdefinition of seniors. In particular, it is analyzed the psychological and educational prerequisites of formation of such tumors as "professional selfdefinition", defined the system of factors that influence on its formation. It is established that the professional self-definition – is a complex structural neoplasm combined and interrelated of beliefs by moral and volitional qualities of personality, methods of behavior, knowledge of the profession, practical skills, formed in accordance with the requirements of society and opportunities of the educational process in school. Professional self-definition is an integral component of personal identity. These phenomena are parallel lines throughout the human life course, and how a person copes with the tasks of choice at different stages of your life, depends on the success of life in general.
