Abstract
The article discusses the didactic features metadisciplinary approach of the formation of the pupils general education competences in the context of vocational training. Vocational education is one of the key areas of modernization and improvement of the system of education in Ukraine and is the fullest possible satisfaction and the development of cognitive interests, aptitudes and abilities of students, their educational needs due to the focus on career and future life plans. The content of vocational training, which is designed taking into account interdisciplinary approach should be based on the fundamental core of educational content, including: a system of knowledge about the world, its natural, social, technological, and other components; integrated knowledge of a relatively coherent picture of the world, generalized and systematic knowledge about the world future professions, universal methods of educational activity of students, which provide conditions for the formation of students ' key competences. Significant role in this aspect play technology research training. For successful implementation of research activities the research abilities, which are based on General competence of students, namely the overall ability of students to learn, which is ensured by the system of knowledge, skills and experience of independent learning activities based on positive motivation and emotionally-oriented approach to learning.
