Abstract

Methods for making strategic management decisions include a comprehensive assessment of the external and internal environment of VET, analysis of its competitive position by using SWOT-analysis (to determine the strengths and weaknesses of competitive position, comparison of advantages and threats); SPASE-method, which involves the calculation of weighted evaluation criteria for the financial stability and competitiveness in the educational market, sector attractiveness for which prepare skilled workers; analytical matrix McKinsey and others.
