Abstract

The problem of self-education of senior high school students in general education institution is considered in the article, argued its increasing actuality in today's information society. Analyzed the essence of the definition of selfeducation and self-education of students. Determined that the main purpose of the system introduction of self-education is creation of the optimal conditions at the level of education institution for getting quality modern education by high school students, for formation of the corresponding self-education competencies, abilities and needs of students to selfimprovement and self-realization.
