Abstract
The authors consider the problem of preparing teachers for teaching tolerance to high school students and underline the characteristic indicators of prosocial behavior among teaching staff, which are equivalent to tolerant ways of interaction. Attention is focused on the structure of teacher’s preparedness to cultivate tolerance in high school students, as well as on forms and methods of work with teaching collectives at general education schools that are conducive to the development of tolerance components in a teacher’s personality.
