Abstract

In the collective monograph, written by scientists of the Laboratory of methodology and theory of psychology of G.S. Kostiuk’s Institute of Psychology at the NAPS of Ukraine, the culture-creating function of the psychological science is characterized. This function finds specification, in particular, in the improvement of pedagogical, scientific, economic, political culture, of culture of family relations etc. The monograph outlines leading aspects of the impact of the psychological science on the formation of patterns of consciousness and behavior inherent in individuals and human communities. Ways are considered of humanizing such impact in various spheres of public life. The book is addressed to specialists in the field of psychology and related disciplines.
