Abstract
The article deals with the main aspects of forming general school senior pupils’ readiness to professional self-determination in educational districts, where one can gain initial knowledge and abilities of applying modern agricultural technologies, develop creative skills. Educational districts can be effective in securing professional self-determination of students of rural locality in farmer activity. The problem of choice and difficulties that accompany it are basic on the decision stages of professional self-determination. A student has to choose an educational institution and a professional specialization direction that the educational district provides. Having studied different approaches to the training of senior students to farmer activity, the author concludes that the most effective way is to improve the variant part of the profile education curriculum of agricultural direction. Professional self-determination is examined in combination with self-determination of students of higher forms in relation to their worldview, moral position and vital sense, that stipulate their connections with the environment, and, thus, the aim, direction and maintenance of their activity in the educational district.
