Abstract
The monograph highlights the questions of intensification of political participation of youth, in particular structural and functional model of political participation, model of connection between the components and levels of social and political activity. Social and psychological factors that influence the level of preparedness of youth for political participation are considered. Authors’ methods of evaluation of motivation of political participation, degree of civic responsibility, manifestation of social and ideological stereotypes, factors that determine making decisions concerning political participation and political activity of young people are proposed. The monograph is addressed to the scientists and teachers in the field of political psychology, political science, sociologists, political and civil activists, and to all those who are interested or professionally engaged in civic education of youth and development of civil society in Ukraine.
